Introduce

This unit (DOT-7 type) is the latest model in the DOT series. The exterior has been redesigned and the measurement reproducibility has been improved by using LEDs as the light source. This device is a spectral transmittance meter that can obtain stable measured values even for samples and lenses that diffuse light, such as transparent and translucent objects with irregularities. In addition, by using the optional 10x sensitivity mechanism, low transmittance and degree of polarization when crossed polarizing plates can be measured in a stable manner. Since it is a double beam method, it has excellent long-term stability, and since it is a type that irradiates upward from the integrating sphere side and the sample table faces upward, setting can be done simply by placing the sample. Color can be measured even for thick samples (up to 30 mm). It is especially useful for measuring the transmitted color of samples such as lenses (spectacle lenses).
